Rob is chatting to Michael Pratt about the effective use of compression garments and how he can use them. In particular recovery socks & recovery shorts – how effective are these in long distance running?
There are two ways to use compression – you can use during your run to keep the muscles nice and firm. Or you can use them post exercise for recovery. The first hour after long runs is critical to help the recovery process.
The recovery short is designed to be worn for post exercise, not during – these are great to support the glutes and hips which are problem areas for Rob.
