Earlier this year Australian track cycling star, Jack Bobridge attempted to break the world hour record.
His target was to notch 51.852km in 60 minutes, or 208 laps of Melbourne’s DISC.
With the help of his Turbine The 25-year-old recorded 51.300km – in 205 laps – which makes him second-fastest over the distance after Austrian Matthias Brandle set the record last October.
Bobridge beat the Australian record of 50.052km set by Brad McGee in 1997.
Incredible effort!
